    Looks like you finally cleaned that thing.

    I've enjoyed your past month of updates from your ride across the county. However every time pics were posted of a dirty (neglected) 911, I would cringe. Such a worthy ride deserves to look its sharpest in its pics. That's just my opinion.

    You have to give Porsche some major props for the kind of mileage you can get out of the 350hp 911. My lighter and less powerful '87 Mustang 5.0 never got close to that mileage even though it was only turning 2k rpms at 70. The rental AWD Escape 1.6 Ecoboost I drove for a few days on a run from Detroit to Philly and back only barely topped 25 once from its 180hp turbo 4 despite hours of flat turnpike travel.
