I have a 2013 Pathfinder that had the same problem and the light would shut off when I connected the passenger seatbeat (even with no passenger). I took it to the dealer and they fixed it citing that it was a loose connection.
So if the recall says it's a bad sensor how could the dealer correct it as a loose connection? Could they have removed or disabled the warning light?
the treatment I received was not what I expected
