    I suppose this is where the CX-5's 40-20-40 split rear seats would have come in handy.

    This is the other aspect of "you wanna play, you gotta pay." If you want to get mpg like that, you are going to be driving a gutless wonder. More or less acceptable in a vehicle like that.
