    News flash- the main reason people have repairs done for a check engine light is so they can get license plates. CarMD should study how often the repair doesn't solve the problem. The fact that these costs are increasing indicates that its a great scam they have devised. Maybe carmakers could install "refinance mortgage" lights in cars next.
