So now there's no stick? The 6-speed manual is gone?!? Seriously, Nissan (Infiniti), you suck anymore. Unless I'm missing something the only stick Nissans left are the useless 370Z, the 'poor person versions' of the Versa and Sentra and the leftover (for one more year) G37 coupe. Remember when you were the 'performance minded' Japanese company in the 1980s and 1990s? No, you clearly don't. I don't care how 'awesome' your 7-speed auto is in terms of efficiency and getting power to the ground. No stick, no sale. This car is gorgeous. But now it's one giant FAIL for skipping the stick. Infiniti will never be BMW no matter how hard it tries.

    Nice styling. Definitely an improvement.

I like the styling but I am dissappointed in the lack of powertrain improvements and very dissappointed that a manual will not be offerred. I have been very happy with my 2008 S 6MT sedan but I will look elseswhere when I re-enter the car market unless Infiniti offers a manual with the sedan.

Owning a G35 MT, I also want to row my own gears. I'm afraid this design is too bland, and will fall behind Hyundai's ambitious styling exercises. I really like the 1st gen Gs, as they had a unique look and headlamps that later showed up on the Porsche Cayman.

The MPG of the hybrid sounds great, and I hope the handling and driver involvement is there, above all.

And why change from G to Q? The Q was the large sedan no one wanted. The G has been far more successful.
