I hope that the bedliner is in the works soon! Although it would be interesting to see how the bed holds up without one, if that is what you are trying to determine. If not, c'mon guys, even Scott himself said that the engine stand left bad scratches and dents. DIY roll on or spray on bedliner would make an interesting and fun post.

These cats @ Edmunds are trying to see just how fast they can destroy the bed of that Chevy. Car Max well be look'in to spank them hard when they check the residual value.
What ever happen to putting the block on a pallet?
    Just say'in.

uh oh here come all the posts about "why didn't you get a bed liner". Actually, why didn't you bother to try to protect the bed with a old POS scrap piece of plywood or something? anything?

by the way, you have a cool dad!

yup spending thousands of dollars on a pickup and not getting the dealer to install a bedliner or optioning for one from the factory is worthy of a head-scratching! Even my 92 S-10 came from the dealer with a drop-in bed liner

"leaving behind badly scratched paint and even a dent or two. " You put in that last part just to set us off didn't you?

a spray in liner would have stopped the scratches but probably not the denting. should have had some boards down to spread the weight and get it off the wheels.
