Why would you buy this when for 22K market price you could get Honda Accord Coupe with lot better mpg and more room.
Or a Civic Coupe which would be cheaper since you can't negotiate Scion pricing.

The FR-S can't save Scion. I really hope Toyota reconsiders killing Celica and brings back true successor. Sporty looking car with decent cargo space and not harsh ride or noise of FR-S (nor the price).

The Civic LX coupe doesn't have a moonroof like the tC; the EX manual is a couple hundred more expensive, the automatic a hundred less. An Accord coupe with a moonroof lists almost $6000 more, although probably sells for $4500 more. Neither has a liftback to access its modest trunk, with tiny pass through and a one-piece folding rear seat straight from the early '70s. Price and versatility in a coupe configuration make the tC almost unique even if it isn't that great otherwise. The Hyundai Veloster is probably as close as you can find, and it's also slightly more expensive if you want a moonroof.

Does anyone else get disturbed by how much of the print copy of these articles repeat themselves and mention the same thing at least twice for any article we read?
