    Great mileage & Truck rarely share the same sentence. Large engines, high frontal profile, 2.5 tons. Takes energy to move.

    You guys are a bit lower than I am. After 4,500 miles I am at 20 overall compared to your 17.3. Mine is a 5.3 4x4 6.5 foot bed running 34" tires and a small lift. I used Hypertech to adjust the speedometer and odometer so they are right on.

    I noted this in the piece "...Even though most of these were highway miles,..." On that basis I'll reserve judgement on the mileage.
