    Why call it a RC 350 F Sport, instead of an RC F Sport or RC 500 F Sport, especially if it's got a 5.0 V8? Even the current IS F disregards the "250" or "350" designation of the IS family.

    I think the RCF and RC 350 F sport are two different vehicles.

    Well I'd say this is a pretty bungled news report. Are there not knowledgeable automotive editors on staff at Edmunds anymore?

    Let's get it straight, the lineup will be RC 350, RC 350 F Sport, and RC F. The RC350 F Sport will have the same 3.5L V6 of the RC 350, more than likely with upgraded body, suspension, interior, etc. The RC F was already shown in Detroit, and will have the 5.0L V8 and be the top model.

    That's been Lexus' strategy so far, and I don't see how it will be changing here.
