"See full article and comment" huh? Two (well, one and a half) sentences about something every Volkswagen has had since probably 1990 and every other car in the world has now. Why do I keep expecting to be impressed by these long term articles?

I can appreciate stringing together an article about the little things about a vehicle that the automaker does differently that someone doing research on a vehicle might find helpful (i.e. things you might like or dislike an not notice on a test drive), but to make a couple sentence blog/article about a feature that almost all new cars have in some form without talking about why this implementation is better or different leaves a lot to be desired.

Seems over-engineered to me. They went for the clean look but after taking them on and off a lot I could see the plastic wearing out.

Anyone remember when you just took the floor mat, put it down and that was it? Now a days its hard to tell which has more tie down points the floor mat or a child's car seat.
