We purchased a new Wrangler Unlimited in 2013. Chrysler, although aware of the bad design, are continuing to produce Wranglers with this problem. I've contacted Chrysler's (so called) customer care department several times now, because no dealers near me are able to get the parts to do the repairs. I told them I don't wish to be in a crash, or trapped in a burning vehicle, and I won't feel comfortable driving it until this safety issue is resolved. I further told them if they can't get it fixed right away, they need to replace it or buy it back. Their response was "Your complaint does not meet the criteria of further action on our part". WHAT????? Shows how much Chrysler Corporation cares about your safety! I will never buy a new vehicle made by the Chrysler Corporation! It's no wonder they went bankrupt, there doesn't seem to be any quality assurance, and they've proven to me that they care nothing about consumer safety.

The above recall ,could this be my cause of my fire? I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler that had a fire . Estimate to repair burnt parts is $5000. Transmission fluid leaked on to the engine and transmission, bursting into a fire. Chrysler inspected, but say they are not responsible. The Dealer says I should of installed a additional transmission cooler ,cost $300 and additional cost for installing. So I turned this into my insurance for repair . Insurance company says to try, ` the Lemon Law`. State is Wisconsin. I see that there is a recall number 70328 . But can not find the statement on this. Could you help in any way?
