    Although this will be beneficial and will likely get the Corvette over the 30mpg hurdle......the more pressing need is to get a stripper version with a much lower price.( Both of which are coming) The Stingray starts at 53k. The version I speak of --Corvette (no Stingray) is 5.3 liter (not 6.2liter), fixed roof, simpler body panels, fabric seats, less bells /whistles overall and hopefully a 40k(ish) price. Works for me.
