    Haha quite true. However, through my, admittedly limited, experience with exotic vehicles I have found that the special things are almost always nailed with incredible attention to detail, but the more mundane things are pitifully overlooked.

    i know... i don't actually think it's that big of a deal; just ironic given MB's reputation for build quality.

I would lay money that the window regulators on a car like this will function through nowhere near as many operation cycles as those in for example a Camry.
