You guys should hire nukedetroit, and I'm being serious. Maybe put him in the PG section of the website, but I guarantee that you will get a substantial increase in website traffic due to click-bait material. So many clicks it might offset the flood of calls and emails to your complaints department.
my wife picks up nails and debris like crazy in her car. i actually felt bad going into the tire store the last time. i think it was our third new tire she has gotten (we bought the road hazard warranty).
i've only had two punctures in the last 7 years.
i'd love to buy a road-force machine and run the service out of my garage. hard to get it done properly.
We missed out on the opportunity to see the TPMS display that went with the leaker, although the post would probably not be as lively as the last TPMS thread on the ATS.
Real estate costs in Santa Monica and the prevalence of tire rack online tire shoppers that come in for mount and balance only has killed the free flat fix in our area. Overhead is high and margins are thin. Also, they know the folks that live here have money. As for our flat frequency, it's based on pure volume. You're looking at 20,000 miles times 16 or so cars. That's 320,000 vehicle-miles per year, a lot more than any individual covers.
