    How accurate, Dan, is the CX-5's avg mpg readout compared with your calculated number?

    A true Edmunds editor would run it down so there were no bars left, then complain that he could have made it to the station in the next corner, if having to coast in neutral for the last little bit, and that the gauge should only read empty when the tank is bone dry, the pump completely burned out and overheated, and the car stranded on the side of the road.
