I have a 2013 Cmax and I do believe 47mpg is unobtainable. My car My 2013 Cmax has about 5500 miles on it and it shows a lifetime mpg figure of 35 mpg. I am very disappointed by the mileage (although the car itself is nice) because I would not have bought this car, had I known the true mpg. Cold weather has a serious negative impact on mileage, as mileage plummets (shows <20mpg) when the gas engine kicks on to warm up the cold engine and also to power the cabin heat. I expect the same issue when the weather is hot. The question is what do about it now?
