Designers today are absolutely unconcerned if you can see out of the back of the vehicle aren't they? Why should I have to rely on rear view camera and side warning systems? Is it really so much to ask that I be able to see fellow drivers in the rear view mirror or when I do a shoulder check?

I like the styling, I'm not an SUV guy, but this looks very distinctive.

I'm liking the features Nissan has been introducing and also the looks are not boring like Honda and Toyota but what is killing me is the lack of refining the engine line-up. That 3.5 is so old it's embarrassing, V6 power great but Nissan needs to get it's act together and make some new engines ASAP. I have a 2012 Frontier Pro-4X and love lots of things about the truck but will not and would not buy again with that rough 4.0 V6. The 4.0 runs rough, sounds stressed, and gets crappy MPG compared with the full-sizers. But once the tach swings past 4k it really charges like so many Nissan motors it has that BMW second wind to them.

Interior is pretty nice but the exterior is even more overstyled than the current one. The grille is way too busy, the "eyebrows" on the headlights (and tail lights) are silly, and the wheels are cheesy. What's with the wacko "hump" in the body line and the blackout treatment behind the window past the C pillar? Just put an actual usable window back there, and it would look better too. It's eye-catching alright, but to me not in a good way. Even if I liked it, I think the exterior styling would get tiresome fairly quickly. The overall shape is good, but the details are putting me off.
