The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has closed an investigation into an estimated 1,593,452 Ford vehicles, including the 2009-'13 Ford Escape, after reviewing more than 10,000 consumer complaints about sudden reduction of engine power while driving.

    I must've missed all of this discussion,as an 2008 Chevy Impala owner who just finished paying off my vehicle, as I now have the throddle problem everyone seems to be speaking of. Very concerned by the lack of recall on the vehicle and GM's dismissal of not contacting ALL Impala owners to make them aware of possible future problems and not having ALL vehicles reprogrammed. I'm turning this car in, and I';m going back to FORD.
