Rush, Ron Howard's tribute to Formula 1 racing, took in $10.3 million in box-office receipts this past weekend, behind Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 at $35 million and Prisoners at $11.3 million, according to www.BoxOffice.com.

    American Graffiti and The Fast and The Furious are hardly "racing movies." How about classics like Grand Prix and Steve McQueen's "Lemans?"

    Fast and Furious? Really? American Graffiti was a great movie but by no means a racing movie. Fast and Furious, and its sequels, are neither great nor racing movies. But considering the headline made it sound like a shock that a family-friendly, all-ages welcome kids movie did better than an R-rated movie, I guess I should have seen that coming.

    Fast and Furious a racing movie? Why not call World War Z a documentary, it makes as much sense.
