    "If the drive shaft detaches while driving, it could cause excessive noise..." You think??? Probably the least of your worries!

    As a man who has had a drive shaft failure at highway speed the "excessive noise" is in fact the last thing on your mind.

    I can imagine that having the drive shaft disconnect would be a terrible situation to be in. However, no accidents have been reported due to this so it appears that the under-tightened bolts were caught before anything catastrophic occurred, thankfully.
