    How many of these cars have the highest safety ratings? I'd rather buy my kid a used F-150. Poor gas mileage but I'll put it up against any of these little econo-boxes for safety. I don't know about you but my kid is worth a few hundred dollars more in gas.

    A few years back the F150 scored poorly is some crash tests. It was a death trap when hitting a solid object.
