    Chrysler is no longer an American car company. Its owned by Fiat. I think that's the point Tesla was making.

    Not exactly "All good news for the American taxpayer." Chrysler did not pay back $1.3 B in loans (as part of the settlement) which is a loss to the taxpayer.
