Remember the seat adjustment lever that snapped off in the Fiat 500? There are parts of the 500 that just feel cheap. I guess the same may go for the Dart.

The Darts I test drove had loose headlight switches in the dashboard. This story confirms my concerns about workmanship and design robustness.

It's a Fiat built by the UAW overseen by Chrysler. Really, this kind of shoddy workmanship surprises you?!?

Wow, I thought I had an isolated incident. That literally happened to me when I test drove a Dart last Monday. The salesman said this and I quote, "Well that's not supposed to happen." Ha! It must be a safety feature, are you sure you reaalllyyy want to drive this car?

After the medieval trunk hand stabby thing and this? The long term test of this car is not really doing it much good.

Saw one in Orange today on the way to work. Decent to look at but suspect the looks would date quickly. And you know what the Corolla has looked like crap for a few generation and is uninspiring to drive but it sells. Because it doesn't fall apart. You do have to wonder if Dodge would have done better spending more time and money on the quality vs the looks of this car.
