actually i have a very big doubt that @ $120k, it's both slower and more expensive than Tesla Model S performance, and less sporty than a 911, i don't think it will be a huge success.

But given its limited production number should be, selling it shouldn't be a problem.

How big can the gas tank be on such a small, complex machine? The theory behind including a gas engine is to provide unlimited range, but if you have to fill up every hour I think the point is being missed...

This looks like a way overpriced, way over-compromised hybrid electric vehicle. It goes 22 miles on battery power "if you drive economically." That makes it an expensive toy, a status symbol for people who can drop $120k on their second or third car. Why would anyone looking to make a statement about alternative powertrains choose this car over the Tesla S, which is actually useful as a daily driver in addition to being both an excellent performance sedan AND a "statement" car. It's shameful how BMW's technology is seemingly years behind Tesla.
