    I find it truly amazing how the product planners come to their conclusions. Seems like either would sell like Friday night pizza in the USA and especially if cheaper than the 24-25k starting price of a GTI.

    Looks good but that's it! Rear suspension? Beam. 1.6l turbo 201hp, weak. 0-62mph in 7.9s, a joke. Nothing to be interested in here.

    Car companies have been doing this for years. Go look at Ford, GM (Holden in Aus. and Vauxhall/Opel in the UK), Honda in Japan and the UK.

    Why is are US citizens penalized???
