A new poll by the University of Michigan Mott Children's Hospital shows 82 percent of adults support banning smoking in cars when kids under 13 are riding in the vehicle.

This issue has been discussed across Canada with most people feeling it shouldn't have to be legislated. We are already very much a nanny state on other matters.

Certainly common sense says smoking in a vehicle with children or adults is not healthy and just bad manners.
