Edmunds' long-term 2013 Scion FR-S has a large central tachometer and a digital speedometer. Edmunds says this is the perfect setup for a sports car.

    I think they should get rid of the speedometer to the left of the tach. I'm sure you could fit some other information display that's of use in there.

    It's a perfect tach. But the analog speedo is awful.

    I believe the scale pattern on the speedo is a little distracting, but I wouldn't mind with the digital speedo. I think I would just use that. I liked that in the Rx-8 as well.
