Top of Mt. Palomar is over 6100 feet elevation and the surrounding roads are pretty high, too. Most N/A engines are starting to suck wind pretty bad in those conditions. Personality or not, I would rather have a turbo there.

I am extremely picky when it comes to how a car drives (as opposed to how it looks, etc.) I cannot think of ANY other car today that drives as good as the Focus ST, with the possible exception of Porsche 911. Yes, front wheel drive sucks and turning circle is atrocious. But the balance, the ride quality and the steering feel are absolutely fantastic. FANTASTIC! This car is truly exceptional to drive by today's standards.

So, Erin, would you not buy one if the tweeter was a bit askew? Those things aren't the dealbreakers. What's under the hood and how it handles and feels are the most important. The ST seems to have 99% of its ducks in a row. And the price is right.
