    To me Porsches seem to be a paradox. They are well engineered and seem to be designed to be daily drivers... until you need to fix something and then you'll be getting a loan to pay for it. I'd love to see some average numbers of repair and maintenance costs for a daily driver up to 200k miles.

    More importantly, why is a professional car guy letting his mom drive around in 23 year-old death trap? Pretty much any 10 year-old car is going to be way safer than that pos Olds.
