    The most surprising part of this article was that over 9% of American households do not own a car. This is a real problem. I think Obama needs to make cars as easily accessible as cell phones.

    +1 miscpippa: Indeed, and can be surprisingly efficient too! I dare say that this country is in dire need of more self-propelled movement, be that bicycling, walking, or just shuffling into a bus/train.
