    Yes, the touch screen system is super slow. What i did was turn on the button sounds in setting menu so I get an audio acknowledgement when I press anything on the screen. That helps from overloading the system while repeated pressing.

    I have the TDI SEL too. Turn off the "beep" tone confirmation.... it'll make the touchscreen works faster. About 1 second faster when you press on a button/key. Makes a noticeable difference!

    The Passat uses the RNS-510; the others use the RNS-310. The 310 lacks some of the features of the older 510 but it's much faster and the BT integration is way better.

    ^I feel sorry for CC customers who get the 310 standard but pay more for a trim level that includes the slower, clunkier 510 then. I think I would give up some resolution and features for a system that doesn't frustrate me (as much, still wish it had radio preset buttons).
