    I cannot imagine anything more distracting than having ribbons of light all around the interior when trying to drive at night. That feature does have an off switch, I hope.

    It's not distracting at all- it is very subtle-and yes you can turn it off or change the brightness of both the red ribbon and the lcd screens.

    Not sure if anyoe at Edmunds actually reads these comments but I have read a new software update became available this week for the DDCT. Early reports have been extremely positive and owners have said it is a dramatic improvement.
