    I know their are release notes available AFTER you accept the update. I guess the end-around is to check the forums.

    In other news, they finally came to their senses on *requiring* Tesla service to honor the warranty and are dropping that it.

    Version 4.3's main new feature was the ability to set charging times in advance, to take advantage of cheap night-time electric rates. In addition, the accuracy of the "rated range" readout numbers was improved in cold weather and the heating system was tweaked. I don't know if the update they're waiting for is that one or the next one. But yeah, they should be telling you what the update does when they notify you that it's available. I mean, with a 17" touchscreen, there is plenty of room for the release notes.

    Maybe not the COMPLETE release notes, but surely a summary would at least be possible?
