    Curiously the engine is port injected not direct injected. I wonder why Porsche had to go that route.

    I used to think the Panamera made the argument for why the 911 is never really restyled - that if you let Porsche designers actually design something instead of copy and just tweak a single line, it would all go horribly wrong. This car invalidates that belief.
