    I wonder what gas they were using. The symptoms sound like a major intervention by the knock sensor system. If Ford are tying it to damp conditions I wonder about icing in the intake system.

    And no complaints about the Flex's, Explorers, SHO's, and MKS' equipped with the same engine? Hmmm.

    They should include the Ranger, I have the same issue with a 3.0 flex fuel.
