    Not really related but why are these screens growing in the wrong direction. Thanks to movie screens and HDTV we have a cultural fascination with wide screens. That's fine. They have their place. But car manufacturers have gotten in on the game and I just don't think they're suited for a car's center stack. Think about navigation. Maps may be oriented to the direction you're driving. But with a wide screen you get more detail about what's next to you than what's ahead. Same goes for menus that scroll vertically.

    Artists typically put a lot of thought and meaning into album art. A vehicle that allows drivers to appreciate that is a very cool thing indeed! It's a little thing, but that album art displaying in the car is really impressive.
