    This is stupid and a waste of money. It is extra stupid considering how VW lowers the engine output of the Golf so it does not outperform the Audis.

    An 18 lb. weight savings will save no fuel. And performance will not improve at all. An 18 lb. weight savings will have no benefits at all.

    18 lbs. on a 3,000 lb. car is insignificant and not worth mentioning. Why is this article here?
