Toyota did a nice job on the redesign of this vehicle. I wish you had a gotten a hybrid. I am curious if the mileage claims are realistic in such a heavy vehicle.

curious how the fuel mileage will compare to your past and present awd crossovers.

@ quote: The Highlander is the third best-selling midsize crossover on the market, and even with the optional V6 underhood (only 8.2 percent of Highlander buyers chose the four-cylinder last year), the Highlander remains Toyota's least expensive three-row

You added $13k worth of bling, declined to get AWD for only $1460, and then have the nerve to wonder whether you'll have weather jitters later on? What's wrong with you? I'm not a huge fan of AWD, but you're already setting this vehicle up for demerits.

"Center stack takes up less space, freeing up room for a small storage shelf" as wide as 2/3rds of the dashboard

So did Toyota rip of Hyundai or did the opposite occur. The exterior styling between the new Sante Fe and the Highlander is so similar that it underscores the refrigerator status of both- especially that huge clunky grille. Those who faulted Mazda on the previous 3's smiley face should be killing this atrocity with fire. IMO.

It's not even AWD? WTF - just get a minivan. Plus Toyota seems locked in a fight to the death with Nissan for who makes the ugliest SUVs. Pretty much every Japanese SUV comparo looks like a remake of Godzilla vs Megalon.

I bought my Highlander from AutoNation Toyota of Irvine. I liked the sales staff, but hated the finance staff. I was told lie after lie by the finance people, but not the sales people (go figure).
