    The tuning market for this car will really take off once second-hand examples hit the market... and then it will take off even more once values of this car drops below $12K.

    I think if it were me, wheels/tires and a host of engine upgrades would be the priority. The chassis is already very nice and I think it would be difficult to improve on the suspension without compromising daily drive comfort (maybe better dampers and adjustable antiroll bars to tweak front/rear balance).

    Unfortunately, for every well sorted out tuned car, there's five or six with poorly sorted squeaky lowering suspension kits and enormous rear wings.

    since when is a $30,000 car cheap??? i have yet to spend that much money on a car in my entire life.

    Its a nice idea, but "tuning" these days seems to focus on big shiny rims laid on their side, ride height scraping the ground, a coffee can welded onto the end of the exhaust pipe, stickers worth 10 hp apiece, and a nice shiny red anodized tow hook to top it all off.
