    Did a visual inspection yield nothing? Usually a little glue is all it takes to fix these things since there's no way that the weather stripping rotted this fast...

    I can hear it now, VW Service's blanket answer for everything: "It' operating within design parameters." Good luck. That's why my 2006 may be the last one I ever own.

    I rented a 2013 Passat earlier this year and heard the same annoying wind noise on the car I rented. It was coming from the passenger side rear door, window frame area and was only noticeable at freeway speeds. I looked at the door and saw how badly fit it was. The window frame wasn't flush with the front door frame and the back rear part of the door near the handle wasn't flush either. Nice car but I would never buy a VW product.

    Was this sorted out on your 10k miles service? I have a 2014 Passat TDI SE with what I believe to be a similar issue and I am curious if you were able to have this issue easily sorted out...
