    The correct way to number a ranking where there is a tie is to skip the number for the next place on the list. For instance, when two contenders tie for 4th place, there is no 5th place; the numbering should continue with 6th place.

    Why is the Civic Hybrid not included on this list? It's a hybrid, and a sedan.

    EPA 44city/47highway which would put it in 3rd.

    There's no reason why it wouldn't be included on this list.
