    Still no news regarding the rumored less expensive Corvette C-7 with the 5.3 liter V-8 engine. I hope that it's not just a rumor.....

    I heard about the 5.3V8 version as well.....From what I know- coupe with fixed roof and less ornate body, cloth seats, dual exhaust, smaller wheel/tire pkg, less color choices, automatic only transmission ....and hopefully sell for under 45k (?) -it would suit me just fine. Hell I would even go for a V6 version if they could trim the cost even more ( say 40k).
