    there must be a way to turn the sound off on it... right? I too loved the THX starting at movies but if you had to hear that a half dozen times in a row as you ran errands it would get old too.

    That's unnecessary. After a week of ownership it would become hateful.

    Relax. I have an ATS with CUE. You can turn it off completely and also control the volume level in the setup menu.

    I don't have an ATS and I was able to find out how to turn it off in about 30 seconds at Cadillac's site.....
