    No M3/M4?

Noah - Agreed, they missed on that one - unless since it's coming out in 5 months they just felt they could skip it?

Excited about the growing segment of hot sedans that are reasonable daily drivers at mid-level entry-lux prices.

ATS-V and S3 are likely going to offer nice entry-level price points compared to the new M3, for example.

I'm counting on the M3 being a ~12.0 second quarter mile car trapping 116-119mph. I like raw acceleration on top of nice appointments, reasonable space, and great handling.

However, if the ATS-V offers a very similar level of performance for $15k-20k less....

Yes, it is exciting to see just how low the bar is at Edmunds.com for "excitement".

Everything here, even the Tesla (which years ago out-lived it's excitement half-life) is derivative and mediocre.

Hint to Edmunds.com: stop making excuses for the fact that no one has changed the basic equation for automobile design in 100 years. And that you really have NOTHING to say.

A lot of interesting cars coming out this year. The Escalade and MKC aren't among them though. What's interesting about a tarted-up Yukon that appeals to the pathetically image-conscious? A tarted-up Escape doesn't sound great either, particularly after the tepid reviews the MKZ received.

Does its lack of entry mean that there is to be no new model Equinox for 2015?

2015? we don't even know what some of them will look like.
The Mustang, is a big question if it turns out like some of the renderings I think it will be a dud. the Lincoln is a joke just an over priced Ford.
time will tell if these are "Best" cars of 2015

This is (the end of) 2013! Automobiles such as FrankEscaladenstein are already obsolete. Anybody who drives this thing on a daily basis without the actual need of its versatility and/or practicality (constantly hauling in-laws or kids' baseball team) are bloody idiots.
Yup... especially when they can actually afford these idiotic pre-historic gas-hoggers...

This article is a fail. What about the BMW 2 Series??? Possibly the most interesting Bimmer in YEARS! The M235i will go from 0-60 is less than 5 seconds and will cost about $44,000. And it will be available next year, not 2015. In 2015, there could be a M2, which could be interesting as well.

And what about the redesigned TT, also due in 2014??? And, of course, the TT-RS variant in which Audi will be gunning for its Porsche stablemate. And speaking of Porsche, the Macan did not make the list???

Come on!!! You can do better than this. All 3 of these cars are more interesting than most of the ones on your list. Honda has been hyping their super car for over a year and it's still more than a year off from production. Old news and still a ways off at 2015. All of my candidates will be available sometime next year. The Macan is up on Porsche's website, the 2 Series officially be released at the Detroit Auto show in January and the TT will probably show up in an auto show at the beginning of the year as well (though not yet announced).

To be rich and not care about reliability... I'm quite satisfied with my quiet, well-mannered 2015 Camry SE 2.5, thank you. As a former MGB and Porsche 911 owner, I'm sure if I were younger, I'd be foaming at the mouth over the 2016 Mazda MX-5 or the Porsche Boxster..

Everything here, even the Tesla (which years ago out-lived it's excitement half-life) is derivative and mediocre.

The Tesla S is derivative and mediocre? I wouldn't buy one, but it's innovative cars like this that start fires under the backsides of major automakers. Thanks to Tesla, we'll all be driving 200-mile-range, fully electric vehicles a bit sooner than anticipated at a lower price than expected. GM is already following Tesla's lead. I'm sure the Japanese biggies will soon be producing long-range EV's at reasonable prices. The elimination of the engine and all related components will offset the cost of Lithium-based battery packs.
