    I have to assume that's the purpose of the slot, and I have to say, it's a genius detail.

    Only on the 2wd models, as the 4wd controller takes that space on 4x4's. Another clever feature is the switches at the bottom of the center stack are specific for the options on your truck, i.e., if you don't have all the bells and whistles you only have the number of switches for what you have instead of a bunch of blank spots.

    @diigii The slot just requires a basic level of common sense to use. When you leave your truck you grab what is in the slot and pocket it. The biggest chance of something happening is when you run in to a gas station or fast food place for just a moment a
