How to know that power has gone to your head: 1) Feeling of overconfidence and invincibility- "Then ignore standing water, wind and errant Fiat Doblos. And never, ever, lift." Check. 2) Disregard your fellow human beings as insects- "...the meandering masses scatter like roaches." Check. Congratulations, you have won the "I hope you never get rich" prize, because in turns you into a total [non-permissible content removed].

Very impressive (and expensive) performance sedan. I think that a 3 or 4-spoke steering wheel would work better in the interior. The 2-spoke steering wheel doesn't quite look right and I would feel more comfortable will more wheel spokes (for more grip and tactile engagement) on a car with so much horsepower and torque.

$140K and your heated/ventilated/massaging seats are optional.

German cars are never worth what they cost. But damned if I don't like this one!

I think I have read about too many crazy-expensive cars on this site. When I got to the end of this article, I thought, "Hey, $140k isn't bad at all!"

Seriously, I don't know why anyone would buy this car (as opposed to a regular S class) in the US, except to lord it over the guys at the country club.

I have two fairly fast cars, but laugh when this kind of thing appears. I drive in N America, and never see a car go 0-60 in 4 seconds or go over 100 mph on our freeways.
The fanzines and blogs go all crazy over daft minutiae in these areas.
Who needs this kind of horsepower?
Yes, I have driven in Europe.

What's really bad: Wheel out an expensive German luxury car and already the comments section are full of veiled and not-so veiled examples of class envy. Pretty sad.

But wow, nice car! I'd never be able to afford one but I'll get over it.

This car is amazing! It is beautiful on the inside and the outside and all that power makes it the best car in the world. Love it!
