    No kidding! When I came of age, I could barely afford to drive, and that's when gas cost about a buck a gallon. But, we didn't have cell phone plans, computers to buy, ginormous cable bills, etc., etc. We listened to the radio, bought a few albums, and just hung out when we had the money for gas.
