Honda Civic brake issue

Started off replacing front calipers, rotors and pads. Attempted to bleed off system but exhibited symptoms of a bad master cylinder. Put the old calipers back on and still had same results. Bled system repeated and yet pedal would travel to floor when vehicle was started.
Replaced the master cylinder with a new one from Autozone. Bench bled the master cylinder and bled the entire system numerous times. After all air removed vehicle was started and pedal dropped to the floor. I was advised to use a genuine Honda master cylinder. Replaced master cylinder again and still get the same results.

Is there something I'm missing? The brakes are hard until the vehicle is started.
