Replaced a turn signal arm and now my Chevy won't start.

hi I replaced a turn signal arm and now my car won't start it starts but then it immediately shuts down and it has to do with the security system but I don't know how to fix that part does anyone have any idea on how to bypass it or is it not the security system maybe something else please let me know I've been doing this for 2 days thanks Jennifer

    You're talking about the factory security system, right, not an aftermarket alarm?

    Did you disconnect the battery when you replaced the turn signal arm?
