Our 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be sold soon. I drove it to Palm Springs one last time, where my relationship with Corvettes began.

I just had a vision of you sitting by the Corvette in the Edmunds garage, crying as you wrote this post, occasionally breaking down and sprawling your body across the hood as if to give it one big, final hug. There-there Cameron.

My only hope is that you'll replace this Stingray with an even-badder Vette. Maybe a Z06 Corvertible?

"I'm going to miss the Stingray, for its beauty, performance, and the fact that we will not have any cars equipped with a manual trans once it's gone."

Whose fault is that? Manual transmissions are fewer and further between nowadays, but also there is the fact that of your 17 LT cars, six are SUVs/CUVs and only four (and that's counting the 'Vette, your ten-year-old M-B and your eighteen-year-old Miata) are actual high-performance vehicles. Is this still "What's Hot"?

You still have the Miata right?

Cameron, you seem to be disappointed that you no longer have a manual trans to drive around, but it's simply not true. Like yellowbal pointed out, you still have the MX-5 the poor little bugger has not seen a real update in almost a year! What happened to the turbo'd engine swap? What has the car been up to? Any track days? You are ignoring the fact that once the Corvette is gone the most interesting vehicle in your LT fleet will be the little MX-5! This is silly, I have not logged in since you all stopped paying attention to your project car, and now you're whining about how you no longer have a manual trans car(in the near future). I know Edmund's was trying to see how a project car evolves as time and money is spent on it, but I didn't think you all would turn out to be the guys who never finish a project car and it ends up gathering dust. C'mon guys.

Cameron, did your relative's Vette ever overheat its engine or cook its brakes like this one does?

I'm going to guess most Vettes these days are automatics. This car will be a rare bird.
